Tournoi de Splendor – Règlement tournoi

Dans le cadre du championnat Splendor-BGA2024, 4 tournois sont organisés sur des créneaux horaires différents. Tout joueur disposant d'un compte Board Game Arena peut librement s'inscrire sur un et un seul de ces tournois.

Format des tournois

Chaque tournoi peut accueillir 512 joueurs.

Les inscriptions se font en cliquant sur le lien d'invitation. Aucun critère d'ELO ou de karma n'est requis pour participer au tournoi. En cas de souci et pour toute question relative au déroulement du tournoi, contacter directement Rwain via la messagerie BGA.

Le tournoi se joue en 1 contre 1, élimination directe (les joueurs sont éliminés de la compétition après une défaite). Les parties se déroulent en tour par tour.

Les joueurs reçoivent une notification lorsque c'est leur tour de jouer, et disposent d'une réserve de temps (de 30 heures) pour jouer leur coup.

Cette réserve diminue dès que le joueur adverse a fini son tour, sur les horaires officiels du tournoi (par exemple, sur un tournoi dont les créneaux sont 10 h - 22 h, il est possible de jouer après 22h, mais les réserves de temps ne sont pas consommées).

Lorsque la réserve de temps est épuisée, un joueur peut être expulsé de la partie par son adversaire. Si tel est le cas, il est considéré comme ayant perdu la partie et est éliminé du tournoi.

Une partie se déroule sur une période fixe de 5 jours. À la fin de cette période, la partie est automatiquement arrêtée. Si aucun des joueurs n'avait réussi à obtenir la victoire, c'est le joueur ayant la plus grande réserve de temps restant qui est déclaré vainqueur.

Match 3 (128 joueurs) : lancement le 19/10 à 10h
Match 4 (64 joueurs) : lancement le 24/10 à 10h
Match 5 (32 joueurs) : lancement le 29/10 à 10h
Match 6 (16 joueurs) : lancement le 3/11 à 10 h
Match 7 (8 joueurs) : lancement le 8/11 à 10 h
Match 8 (4 joueurs) : lancement le 13/11 à 10 h
Match 9 (2 joueurs) : lancement le 18/11 à 10h.
Clôture de la phase initiale du tournoi : 23/11 à 10h.

Phase Finale

Les vainqueurs des phases de qualification seront invités à participer à la phase finale du tournoi, qui se déroulera en temps réel sur BGA le mercredi 27 novembre à partir de 18h00 (heure de Paris). Cette phase se jouera en tables de 4 joueurs, toujours en élimination directe, et sera diffusée avec commentaires en direct sur internet.

Dotations

Les 4 finalistes de chaque tournoi (16 personnes au total) recevront un exemplaire de la nouvelle édition de Splendor.
Les finalistes de chaque tournoi recevront l'intégralité de la gamme Splendor disponible dans leur pays d'origine (Splendor, Splendor Duel, Splendor Marvel…).
Le vainqueur du tournoi recevra une version collector exclusive de Splendor, produite à seulement 15 exemplaires dans le monde, qui ne sera pas mise en vente. Ce lot pourrait arriver après le tournoi, en fonction de la disponibilité de cette édition.

Les éventuels dysfonctionnements techniques inhérents à ce type d'organisation en ligne sont indépendants de notre volonté. The Splendor Tournament - BGA Tournament Rules.

As part of the Splendor-BGA2024 championship, 4 tournaments are organized at different time slots. Any player with a Board Game Arena account can freely register for one and only one of these tournaments.

Tournament Format

Each tournament can accommodate 512 players.

Registration is done by clicking on the invitation link. No ELO or karma criteria are required to participate in the tournament. In case of issues and for any questions regarding the tournament proceedings, contact Rwain directly via BGA messaging.

The tournament is played 1 vs 1, with direct elimination (players are eliminated from the competition after a defeat).

Games are played in turns. Players receive a notification when it's their turn to play, and have a time bank (of 30 hours) to make their move.

This bank decreases as soon as the opponent has finished their turn, during the official tournament hours (for example, in a tournament with slots from 10 am to 10 pm, it's possible to play after 10 pm, but time banks are not consumed).

When the time bank is exhausted, a player can be expelled from the game by their opponent. If this happens, they are considered to have lost the game and are eliminated from the tournament.

A game takes place over a fixed period of 5 days. At the end of this period, the game is automatically stopped. If neither player had managed to secure victory, the player with the largest remaining time bank is declared the winner.

Final Phase

The winners of the qualification phases will be invited to participate in the final phase of the tournament, which will take place in real-time on BGA on Wednesday, November 27th from 6:00 PM (Paris time). This phase will be played in tables of 4 players, still with direct elimination, and will be broadcast with live commentary on the internet.

Prizes

The 4 finalists of each tournament (16 people in total) will receive a copy of the new edition of Splendor.
The finalists of each tournament will receive the entire Splendor range available in their country of origin (Splendor, Splendor Duel, Splendor Marvel...).
The winner of the tournament will receive an exclusive collector's version of Splendor, produced in only 15 copies worldwide, which will not be put on sale. This prize may arrive after the tournament, depending on the availability of this edition.
